I assume the raw engine, which is shared with ACR, is the same for the stand-alone version. LR6 is an improvement, and the latest CC upgrade seems to be a little better still. That doesn't mean you can't make some pretty nice prints with the current sensor. (An XT2 is likely to follow in the summer). That will inevitably lead on to new versions of the other models in time. On the other hand, in the new year they are very likely to be releasing a 'new generation' Xpro2 based on the new Sony 24MP APSC sensor with a ton of AF points. ![]() That doesn't matter that much to me, as long as the basic camera controls are easy to access and the optics are good, and in that respect the Fuji's all shine. So I have only one choice to get a great quality APS-C mirrorless system, Fujiįuji gets all the basics right, even though they don't always have the extended features of cameras like the Olympus and Sony models. Honestly, I thought about getting Sony A7000 after it introduced here but I don't trust Sony's Photography Dep.-t in terms how easy they can abandon a current system to jump to another one like it happened to their APS-C cameras compared to their full frame. People say the newest version is more suitable to Fuji RAW files than the previous one or I could bite a bullet and get Capture One. If you want a good non-mainstream developer, you could look at PhotoNinja, but you could also do a lot worse than the free software that can be downloaded from the Fuji website, which is based on Silkypix. Does it work with Windows PC or not? I appreciate your output. I've heard that it's one of the best converters for Fuji RAW files. I plan to get my first Fuji X-T10 with double lens next week but I've heard of the problems with RAW files so I plan to get Iridient Developer as soon as I get my set.
